Helen was what you would refer to as an eccentric woman. She got great fun in being strange, and not just odd, off in the distance someplace, but at the big festival and front stage. She considered that when fall would set in, that was certainly the season to replace these things. She had each one and when we all got together for the party this year, she would have one of these car seat covers custom stitched to become your new welcome mats.

Why not just purchase new mats and be done with it? That wasn’t quite possibly the oddest thing about this story. When we all gathered together that weekend, and she dragged out these spectacles of dread, you would not believe what she had had embroidered into the front of them. “Welcome Back Carter.” That was another thing, she had never left the Carter administration.
